Not A Pentecostal A Christian.
Here goes the statement “I am not a Pentecostal” and nether are you.Do you know why? or why one would label them self as a “pentecostal”.
I firmly know of the infilling of the Lord in a persons life and also the speaking
of other tongues (heavenly language) and unlearned language of the world along with the accompaniment of prophesy.
The day of Pentecost is a Jewish feast and not a part of being a Christian.
So then why did the Lord say wait at Jerusalem for the promise? The Jews have male maditory feast days and one of them is Pentecost that is why their were so many people in town at that time, like a biker rally at Strugis.
It was a perfect oppotunity for those to hear the first real message and witness the birth of the living church of the Lord as He breathed life into five thousand souls that day.
That is why when one says I am Pentecostalthey really are identifying them as a person who observes the feast of Pentecost. See no one I know calls themsevles as “Passoverist” or the “Feast of Booths”.
It the traditions of men that identify with being Pentecostal. You are a Christian and if you are filled with the Holy Ghost that all you are not a Pentecostal.
So in summery Pentecost is a Jewish feast and is mandatory for all Jewish males to attend. It is not a Christian experience.
