The California Supreme court up held the the voice of the people and ruled 6-1 that the ban on gay “marriage” is good and that the California can define marriage as God defined it a real one man and a real one woman. It is a step in the right direction but do not stop fighting.

Now to the other gay unions unfortunately said they were lawful. Truth of the matter is there is no such thing as homosexual marriage.

Not in the Lords mind and definitely not in mine.

SAN FRANCISCO — The California Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld same sex marriages that were already performed but upheld voters’ rights to ban gay marriage through the state constitution.

An estimated 18,000 gay couples tied the knot before the law took effect. The ruling suggests that gay couples can be afforded equivalent rights to heterosexual married couples but perhaps under a different name. Here they desire to play the word game.

But Chief Justice Ron George, writing the 6-1 decision, said the people have a right, through the ballot box, to change their constitution.

The court is the same one that last May ruled it unconstitutional to deny gay couples the right to marry. That led to the constitutional amendment offered on the ballot last November.

“After comparing this initiative measure to the many other constitutional changes that have been reviewed and evaluated in numerous prior decisions of this court, we conclude Proposition 8 constitutes a constitutional amendment rather than a constitutional revision,” the ruling said.

These homosexuals do not desire equal rights they desire “Special rights”.

There are laws already i9n place that protect all people. Homosexuals have the right to breath, work , pay taxes, eat but no more then that. We as a nation can not be moral by allowing immorality no more then we can be a moral nation and allow the willful taken of human life by acts of abortion.
