Getting Back To Basics of Running A country.

Every body is good with the words be them politicians ,preachers people in general. Every two years and every four years we as Americans are glued to many facets of media television, radio and now the internet. During the presidential campaign current President Obama said “it’s just words just speeches” and he is correct. All that the current line up of political air bags were just words nothing more but broken and empty promises.What else is new. Nothing. For votes a person will be pro- life and pro abortion or “choice”they will be for liberty and for bigger government; I will not raise your taxes and then I will raise your taxes; I will get us out of Iraq and I will increase our presence in Iraq these are just a few of the things that politicians will say yet when elected their speeches and their word are empty; they only had one thing on their mind, power.

There are 536 people in the United States congress there are over three hundred million people. That Translates to 536 Congress men who daily find a way to slowly erode our Freedoms away o with one exception that is Senator Ron Paul he is a man of action and Governor Sara Palin of Alaska. Many of the political groupies have no real sense of duty or loyalty to the American public except come election time then everyone cares and desire to do something.

The past year and a half we have seen business fall under the weight of excessive taxes and if President Obama has his way more business will fall in the financial grave. We also have witnessed the take over of banks and car dealerships by the United States government. Unemployment has risen to a all time high with a democrat President and a democrat run congress. The beautiful state of Oregon has the highest rate of unemployment in the nation with over twelve percent and their answer is raise taxes on business but that will increase the unemployment rate because smaller business will fail under the government weight of  excessive taxes.

Both the republicans and the democrats have failed the American public with their lack of honesty, morality and common sense.

Waylon Jennings once sang about “may be we should get back to the basics of love” may be we should get back to the basics of running a country; starting with turning our eyes and hearts to God and ask for forgiveness. Those elected leaders need to remember they work for us the common folk and not the special interest groups like Planned Parenthood or the Homosexual agenda or those who loathe our brave men and women of the United States Military or even those who hate Jesus Christ.

The United States is in need of real men and real women who love freedom, justice and live by a moral code of truth. Daniel Webster creator of Websters dictionary once said” That which makes a good Christian also makes a good citizen”
