Taking GOD’s Grace for Granted

Matthew 7:21 “ Not every one that speaks to me (Jesus) LORD,LORD will enter into heaven”
v.22” Many will say to me (Jesus) that day LORD, LORD did not we prophesy, cast out devils and in your name do marvelous works?
v 23 then I (Jesus) will say to them depart from me you workers of iniquity (sin)
Done the right actions wrong spirit or attitude.

First letter of Apostle Peter 4:17
“ For the time is come that judgment starts with the house of GOD: and if it starts with us the body of Christ ( the church):
since it starts with us then there is no hope for those outside to those who have rejected the whole gospel of the LORD

v18 ‘Now if those who have obeyed the gospel scarcely are saved where will the ungodly and sinner appear”

First letter of Timothy 4:16 “ Take heed ( beware) yourself and to the teaching (doctrine);
continue in them (the teachings): by doing this the end result is salvation to you and to others”

Apostle Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians 10 :12 If you think that you stand and can not fall
think again and take warning lest you fall.

these are some of the scariest passages of scripture for a Christian.
These should dispel any complacency and mediocrity when it comes to our salvation and
being a witness to others.

we all at times have taken our salvation for granted and in doing that willing or unwilling we place our self in jeopardy of losing out on greatness.

his can be done by not trusting in the power of the LORD and adopting or assimilating to the ways of the world
mingling the clay with the iron or the water with the wine.

For example in the book of Revelation there are seven church bodies comprised of people and not buildings.

In the seven messages five were warnings and the LORD Jesus new their success and what they have been doing but they became arrogant in the blessings the LORD gave them and in some cases became complacent but either way took the grace of the LORD for granted and I guess you could say began to self applaud and in this were in dire need to repent otherwise they were going to be lost and their light put out.

So we need to be careful and we need to keep our spirit in tune with the LORD and do the right things with the correct motives not with arrogance or ego but with boldness and humbleness in love with the truth and not just when we are around those of faith but also when we are alone.
