American Politics Then and Now

In the history of American politics we have come a long way.
The establishment of a nation that put GOD first and people put them self last and the duties of a politition was one one of civil and public duty and the office was held in honor and the seats of senators and presidents were respected.

It was a time not so long ago that those elected into a public office listened to the voice of the people and passed laws of morals when life mattered when families as the LORD designed were the focal point in a community yes there were troubles but as a decent society we as Americans over came them.

Today we see a vast different American politic.
We see the seats of congress and the offices of public service being sold to the highest bidder and we see our nation being torn a part by men of unprincipled nature.
These are men and women who worship at the alter of self and disregard to real American people.

When men and women who have been placed into public service who boldly declare their own party politics and career agenda and disrespect the very Constitution that placed them into office and openly disregard the voice of the people it is there that we are looking down into a deep hole.

The seats of politics is to be established by righteousness and morality not bribes and shady deals to subvert the will of the people.

The United States has come along way yet I fear unless we as a nation decide to look toward the Creator and judge of all nations and men and repent from the heart of our sinfulness this nation faces some tough times.

So in closing I ask LORD Jesus help us as a nation to be moraly right before your eyes.
Remove from us the crooked give unto us men of honor and principled leaders in the name of Christ Jesus.
