Baptism made simple in Jesus Christ

Why be water baptized in the name of he LORD Jesus Christ?
Reason one is because you love Jesus and his name is the greatest ever in heaven above on the earth we walk and brings fear to hell.

It is at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ that demons tremble men get angry or rejoice.

It is the name of Jesus Christ that is above all praise
Nehemiah 9:5-6 “Stand up (action) and bless (action) the LORD (JEHOVAH) fro ever and ever:
blessed be (it is) your (not mine) glorious name (not titles) because it is exalted above ALL blessing and praise.
You only you LORD are LORD alone:

These are some of the simple ways and reason to be water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and now In the name of Jesus Christ I present to you another reason more impotently why it is necessary
are you prepared?

Matthew 28:19 reads baptize in the name of the Father, son and holy ghost are these names ? the answer is no further then you.
You are either a man or woman a father or a mother a son or daughter a biker or race car driver.
They are titles that signify what you do or positions you hold.
If I ask who the president is of the United States they would say Barrack Obama.

This preluded to the beginning of the church.
The church was not yet in effect.

On to our next stop Luke 24 :47 these one will find in the “red letter”edition the LORD Jesus said ” repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem”.

After the people were gathered in Jerusalem for the feast of Pentecost (Pentecost is a mandate for all to attend or participate in)
The spirit began to fall upon those and the first church sermon was preached and salvation declared in Acts chapter two.
Here we see 1) conviction of sin 2) how can we remove the sins and 3) the action.
Brother Peter declared Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you will receive the spirit of the living GOD for this promise is for you and as many as the LORD our GOD will call (2010 included) acts 2:38-39

Our next stop is Acts 4:12.
Let me ask this question can we find salvation in any other name or person other then Jesus Christ?
The answer is no.
Acts 4:12 ” neither is there salvation in any other:for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved”
Our next stop takes us to Acts chapter 10 brother Peter speaking to gentiles but this time while Peter was speaking they were filled with the spirit on them that Heard the word this astounded the Jews with him and then asked can any one forbid water?
v.48 and he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the LORD Jesus.

Our next journey takes us to chapter 19 brother Paul on his journey can across some disciples asked if they received the infilling of the spirit they said we never heard of this?
Paul asked then what baptism have you received?
Johns Baptism.
When Brother Paul expounded truth to them they were baptized in the name of the LORD Jesus.

Let us go to the church at Cornith chapter 6 Paul talking here and runs down the list of those who will NOT enter heaven ” fornicator, homosexuals , adulterers, drunkards etc then he went on to tell them such were some of you.
some of the folks were on the list of the do not enters but something happened to them they were repented and born again
Verse 11 of Chapter 6 ‘ such were some of you: but you are washed, sanctified and are justified in the name of the LORD JESUS”

Can there be justification outside of the name of Jesus Christ?
That at the name of the father, son , holy spirit every knee will bow ?
No.
not according to the scripture Philippians 2 :9
Now on to Romans 6: 3-4
“So many of us Paul included as were baptized we baptized into JESUS Christ (not Shepard, door, father etc) were baptized into his death a singular.
v4 ‘There for we are buried with Him not them (Jesus) by what baptism into death.

First Peter 3:21 the like figure baptism does also now save us not the cleaning of the flesh but a good conscience toward GOD”

Now I conclude with this if you are of the mind that the words of the apostles are incorrect and oppose the authority that THE LORD Jesus gave them and they disobeyed and spread lies then they would be in the Lake of Fire with the devil but read this passage revelation 22:15 “For without are dogs, sorcerers, whore mongers, murderers, idolaters, and who ever loves and makes a lie”

If the apostles made a lie and water baptism is not in the name of Jesus Christ then the whole New Testament is a fallacy
but since they did not lie and since what is truth the twelve apostles received credibility and reward Revelation 21:14 ” and the wall of the city had twelve foundations and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb”

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men.

I end this with a few question.
Is there justification outside of the name of Jesus?
is there any bible evidence of using father son holy ghost at baptism?
Is the word of the LORD more valuable to you or is tradition?
If you are not a shame of the name of Jesus Christ then being baptized into the the name of is no issue.

Water baptism is impotent and more impotently what name you are baptized into refer to Romans 6 and 1Cor 6:11
You want credit do it in the name of Jesus Christ read Colossians 3:17.
